BUCS Big Wednesday 

16 sports. 60 fixtures. 120 teams. BUCS Big Wednesday brings together talent from all over the country, competing to become 2026 BUCS champions. Join us on 24 & 25 March at Loughborough University to watch records be broken, history be made, and to celebrate the very best of university sport.

Tickets are available to purchase for all sports. Please note, a separate ticket is needed for each sport.

Seating or Standing?

Standing tickets: American Football, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Rugby League, Rugby Union & Squash

Seated tickets: Badminton, Basketball, Fencing, Netball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Water Polo, Wheelchair Basketball & Volleyball

All sports will only permit entry 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.


Accessibility

Accessible tickets are available for a number of indoor sports and include admission for a carer. These tickets are suitable for wheelchair users, with seating provided at ground level where bleacher seating is in use. If accessible tickets for a particular sport are not advertised or are sold out, please email events@bucs.org.uk and we will endeavour to accommodate requests where possible.


Child Tickets

Child tickets are not available for this event. However, U16s may purchase a student ticket (no student ID is required) and must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, who must also hold a valid ticket.


Players & Team Staff

To guarantee entry into any fixture at BUCS Big Wednesday, players are strongly advised to purchase a ticket. Only a limited number of accredited players will be permitted entry at each venue. If you are support staff, either coach or university staff member, you will be eligible for an all access pass but you must be declared on the team sheet on the day. Please make sure you read the team information carefully when distributed.
