Welcome to the 2022 USSVI National Convention!

This year’s convention will be held on the shores of Lake Erie in spectacular Buffalo, NY, just down the street from the largest inland Naval Park in the United States, where the Tolling of the Boats ceremony will be conducted on the World War II submarine, USS Croaker (SS-246). The convention will feature boat reunions, an awards banquet, the Holland Club breakfast, and numerous opportunities to socialize, reconnect, and get informed on the happenings of your USSVI.

Buffalo is only a half hour away from Niagara Falls, one of the Wonders of the Natural World, and a site best seen up close to be truly appreciated. Tours will be offered where you will literally feel the power of the Falls as you cruise aboard the Maid of the Mist, taking you into the belly of the horseshoe falls. You will also be able to descend 175 feet into the Niagara gorge where you will walk along the fierce lower Niagara River and travel a series of decks and boardwalks that lead up to the “Hurricane Deck,” which sits just 20 feet away from the base of the bridal veil falls themselves!

You will be able to tour some of the best local breweries Buffalo has to offer on board a double-decker bus while being regaled with stories of prohibition and rum-running.

Those interested will also be treated to a dinner cruise of the Buffalo harbor on the Grand Lady, an 80-foot yacht capable of seating and feeding 70 guests. Take in the historic Buffalo architecture with spectacular water views and enjoy the magnificent sunsets over Lake Erie.

Evening tours will also be offered to take in spectacular views from Canadian or the American side as the Falls are illuminated in an array of colors that will leave you in awe.

Covid protocols for entry to Canada can change. If they become prohibitive, Canadian tours will be changed to an American side tour.

ENTRY INTO CANADA WILL REQUIRE A VALID PASSPORT OR ENHANCED DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION!

Other than registration, all fees are refundable with written notification until July 15, 2022. No refunds after July 15th.
