2024 Comal County Poll Watcher Training

Attention Patriots!

This training is designed to supplement the **required training from the Texas Secretary of State. It will provide attendees with advanced tips and tricks to make them the most effective poll watcher possible. 

Supplemental Training Includes: 

• Opening/Closing Poll Location 

• Electronic pollbooks and voting machines

• Documenting observations 

• When and Who to report violations

• Voter Check-In and Voter Identification 

• Getting your Appointment Letter

 FOUR SUPPLEMENTAL TRAININGS AVAILABLE: Seating is limited, so please sign up now!

• 1/ TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 5:30-7pm at Comal County GOP Headquarters (265 Landa, New Braunfels 78130)
• 2/ SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 10am - Noon at Mammen Family Public Library - Meeting Room A (131 Bulverde Croing, Bulverde 78163)
  
• 3/ MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 6-7:30pm at Tye Preston Memorial Library - Casteel Room (16311 S. Access Rd, Canyon Lake 78133)
• 4/ THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 6-7:30pm at Mammen Family Public Library - Meeting Room C (131 Bulverde Crossing, Bulverde 78163)

Arrive 10 minutes early and bring your Texas Secretary of State Online Poll Watcher Training Certificate of Completion. (Follow instructions below)

**Pre-Requisite : Complete Texas Secretary of State required Online Poll Watcher Training course before the Supplemental Training. https://www.sos.texas.gov/elections/onlinepollworker.shtml - This link takes you to the Secretary of State Website. To get to the correct location click on 'ELECTIONS & VOTING' in the menu bar, then scroll to 'TRAINING & EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.' (It is important to note the Poll Watcher Training is in the same Portal as Poll Worker Training, which you can see below. TAKE THE POLL WATCHER TRAINING! )
