Beginners’ Guide to Building Your Own Website using WordPress

In this workshop we will use an example project and go through the process of building your website.  You will:

• Define your website's purpose and target audience

• Design your website's structure, create essential pages and add engaging content

• Add plugins to expand functionality and optimise your site

• Test, publish and maintain your website

Please note you MUST bring your own laptop and create a free WordPress account in advance of the workshop at WordPress.com: Everything You Need to Build Your Website.  Go to the Get Started button at the top right of the wordpress.com to create an account.
