Canva Workshops for Burnley Businesses - Beginner & Advanced

Burnley businesses are invited to attend our practical Canva workshops designed to help you create professional graphics for marketing, social media and promotional materials.

You can book onto the Beginner workshop, the Advanced workshop, or attend both sessions depending on your experience level. Each session covers different content and builds your Canva skills step-by-step.

Workshop Options

🎨 Canva for Beginners Workshop

Tuesday 14th April 5.30-8.00pm

Perfect for businesses who are new to Canva or want to learn the basics.

In this session you will learn how to:

• Navigate the Canva interface

• Choose and customise templates 

• Create simple social media graphics

• Use brand colours, fonts and images

• Download and share your designs

By the end of the workshop you will be able to create your own professional graphic ready to use for your business.

🚀 Advanced Canva Workshop

Tuesday 28th April 5.30-8.00pm

This session is designed for businesses who already use Canva and want to take their designs to the next level.

In this workshop we will cover:

• Creating consistent branded designs

• Advanced editing tools and features including the branding kits and presentations

• Designing multi-page content e.g. booklets

• Canva Pro Tools and Workflow Video editing

Important information

💻 Please bring your own fully charged laptop and power cable.

The session will take place in the lecture theatre in the Burnley College University Building.

Spaces are limited so please only book one person per company. Once you have booked your place you will receive a link to enrol with Burnley College. Please use your personal email address and not your business email address. When you have enrolled and attended the workshop, you will be able to enjoy the features of Canva Pro for free with your student email for a limited time period.

You must complete your enrolment by Friday 10th April. If you have not enrolled by this date your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list.

Venue

The workshop will be held at Burnley College – University Building.

There is ample parking available at the college.

If you park in the college car park, cross the bridge and the University Building is on the right before the rear entrance.

There are stairs and a lift to the lecture theatre.

Please allow time to arrive, connect to the college WiFi and sign in at the registration desk. The workshop will start promptly at 5:30pm.
