Burren Winterage Weekend 2023

The Burren Winterage Weekend 2023  will take place from October 26th to 29th in Gort, Co. Galway and other locations across the Burren. During the Winterage Weekend we join together to celebrate the unique farming traditions of the Burren and other ‘high nature value’ farming landscapes across Ireland and Europe, and to share ideas on how these special places and their custodians might best be supported at a time of great challenge.

This vibrant  community festival is coordinated by the Burrenbeo Trust and supported by  volunteers of the Trust and members of local farming community.  This year, the festival will comprise of a range of indoor and outdoor events, most of which will require registration or advance booking.

While few events are free of charge, most have a nominal charge attached in order to prevent no-shows and to contribute to the unfunded cost of Burrenbeo Trust in hosting this event.
