Children's Food and Art Workshop with Clare Anne O'Keefe.

Join us in Butler Gallery for a morning of Cooking and Art.

Savour Kilkenny and Butler Gallery invites children to delve into a flavourful and tactile journey with this workshop inspired by Eamon Colman's poignant exhibition "Twenty Eight Acres," where history, nature, and art coalesce.

We will cook Irish Dairy Milk into a delicious Halloween Treat which we will decorate with wild and seasonal herbs, fruits and flowers. As we mix and pour we will learn about the rewilding of the land that inspired Colman's work, the international history of milk candy and even how to make paint from Milk!

Our culinary artists will be encouraged to take their Milseain creations home, along with recipes inspired by Colman’s work.
They will be inspired to explore the practice of rewilding and wild cooking in their own spaces, no matter how small!

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
