Join artist Jade Butler for a relaxed and inspiring 3-hour painting workshop to celebrate the works of Tony and Jane O'Malley. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant still life paintings of Jane O'Malley, participants will explore colour, composition, and expressive brushwork while creating their own still life painting. Suitable for all levels, this evening workshop offers a welcoming space to experiment and enjoy painting in good company.
About the Artist:
Graduating from West Wales School of the Arts, Jade Butler is an Irish artist whose practice employs portraiture and still life to examine personal identity within modern society. Her contemporary style is deeply rooted in traditional skills.
Jade has exhibited in the annual exhibitions of the Royal Hibernian Academy, the Royal Ulster Academy, the Royal Scottish Academy, and the Royal Society of Women Artists. Her pieces are included in several public collections, such as those of The Office of Public Works.
She has completed residencies at Cill Rialiaig and Tyrone Guthrie, and in 2025 she was awarded a place on the MFA Residency Programme representing the RHA in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame at Kylemore Abbey.
