Come and join us for our signature event the Firelight Feast held on Saturday 1st August from 6:30 - 11pm by the tipi. This is where we celebrate the finest seasonal produce, all cooked over open flame in the heart of nature. Our Feast offers a unique outdoor dining experience, showcasing the abundance of ingredients sourced from across the UK.
Our Feast will be served by Robin Popham, a chef whose culinary journey has been shaped by curiosity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to flavour and seasonality. Robin’s career started in London's Michelin-starred kitchens, before pivoting into teaching the next generation of culinary talent at Leith’s Cookery School.

Robin’s ethos is deeply rooted in embracing heritage ingredients, respecting the environment, and using foraged ingredients. The menu will feature organic produce from the UK's top producers alongside, reflecting the best of the British Isles’ seasonal bounty. His focus on flavour, seasonality, sustainability, and local sourcing shines through in his cooking, making each dish a true reflection of the surrounding landscape. Working with passionate producers, growers, farmers, and artisans, Robin strives to capture the most fabulous flavours nature can produce.
The entire feast will be cooked over fire in the open air, embracing the raw and elemental nature of cooking. Every dish will be infused with the smokiness and depth of flavour that only cooking over flame can provide - What could be more perfect for a Firelight Feast?!
The menu features organic vegetables from local Sandy Lane Farm and mouth-watering Wagyu beef from Lopemede’s own herd, alongside the season's best foraged ingredients, all cooked in the purest way possible - over the fire. This relaxed summer feast is designed for those looking to disconnect from the everyday, embrace nature, and share amazing food and drink with friends in the open air.
