TROJAN HORSES
A New Play by Peter Jukes
Industry Invitation
Tuesday 23 June 2026
The Cockpit, London
You are warmly invited to attend a rehearsed reading of Trojan Horses, a major new play in development by Peter Jukes.
Directed by Stephen Unwin and featuring Tom Goodman-Hill, Joanna Scanlan, Mark Quartley and Hardeep Matharu, Trojan Horses is an epic contemporary drama exploring the emergence of information warfare and its impact on democracy, politics and public life.
Spanning Brexit, Trump, Cambridge Analytica, Russian influence operations and Ukraine, the play asks how truth became a battleground and how the forces unleashed over the past decade continue to shape our world.
WHY THIS PROJECT?
The questions at the heart of Trojan Horses have never felt more urgent – disinformation, Artificial Intelligence, algorithmic influence, political polarisation and democratic resilience. These are among the defining issues of our time.
Combining investigative journalism with ambitious theatrical storytelling, Trojan Horses aims to create an epic contemporary drama capable of engaging audiences with one of the most consequential stories of the twenty-first century.
