Reverend Robert Jones, Internationally-renowned blues musician/storyteller

Rev. Robert B. Jones Sr. is an award-winning musician, storyteller, educator, and ordained minister who has spent more than 40 years preserving and sharing the rich traditions of American roots music. A master of guitar, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and ukulele, his performances blend blues, folk, gospel, and traditional music with engaging stories that educate, entertain, and inspire.

Recognized by the National Blues Foundation for his work as a blues educator, Robert has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has taught at Wayne State University and serves on the affiliate faculty at Berklee College of Music. A former Detroit Public Radio host and 2018 Kresge Arts Fellow, he is also a nationally acclaimed storyteller whose message celebrates the power of music to connect people across cultures.
