A conversation with Chris Brookmyre

We are delighted to welcome Chris Brookmyre back to kick off this year's festival after his sell -out appearance last year. He joined us then straight after winning the McIlvanney Prize for Black Widow at Bloody Scotland and it also won the prize at the Harrogate Theakston Old Peculier Crime Festival in July this year. He will be talking about his new book, Want You Gone, in which Jack Parlabane finds himself immersed in the world of cyber crime. Want You Gone is longlisted for the McIlvanney Prize in 2017
