Safety Webinar: Chicago ATC Alison Ellis
Need help?
Join us for a CABAA Safety Committee Webinar featuring ATC professional Alison Ellis. Ellis will discuss an overview of Chicago Center, its procedures and explanations (such as why you are being held at 4,000' so far from your destination airport), and commonly seen pilot/controller errors. A Q&A will follow Ellis' presentation. A recording of the webinar will be emailed afterward.
Ellis, a Chicagoland native, has been an air traffic controller at Chicago Center for the last 19 years. An Embry Riddle Daytona graduate, Alison spent two years flight instructing at Embry Riddle Prescott before moving on to corporate flying out of Texas and then New Jersey. After a couple of years in the corporate world, Alison switched to the other side of the radio and began her career in air traffic control, where we find her today.
