Book Group

Our Book Group is small and friendly and attracts people who love reading and want to have a meaty discussion with other like-minded book lovers.

Because spaces are limited, we find that our book groups sell out very, very quickly. If you're interested in coming then we'd recommend booking as soon as tickets goes on sale!

Library Card Holders will be automatically booked onto every book group meeting. Standard tickets will go on sale six weeks in advance.

How much are tickets?
Standard tickets to our book group cost £10.00 plus the Ticket Tailor booking fee.

What's a Library Card?
We sell 10 Library Cards every year for our regular book group attendees. This gives them automatic access to all our standard book group events. Library Cards cost £85 + booking fee and can be purchased on our Store (click on the link in the top left of the screen).

The event is full; can I be added to a waitlist?
Unfortunately, we are unable to operate a waitlist for our events.

What does my ticket include?
As well as an enjoyable discussion with other bookish people, your ticket includes a complimentary drink. This can be a small glass of wine, a beer or any non-alcoholic beverage.

What if I can't make it?
Unfortunately, because we have such a small number of standard tickets available, we are unable to offer refunds. However you are able to purchase Refund Protection with your ticket.
Refund Protection is administered on our behalf by Booking Protect Limited trading as XCover (Administrator). You can manage your claims directly with XCover via https://www.xcover.com/en/claim.

What if I haven't finished the book?
We know that sometimes life takes over and it's not always possible to finish the book in time. Fear ye not! As long as you don't mind spoilers, you're still very welcome to come along, enjoy a drink and lovely company... and perhaps find out whether you want to continue reading on to the end!
