Chesham Branch Curry Evening with Matt Vickers MP

I’m delighted to invite you to join us for a special Chesham Conservatives Curry Night on Thursday 22nd October, from 6:30pm at Chesham Tandoori, 48 Broad St, Chesham HP5 3DX. We are particularly pleased to welcome Matt Vickers MP as our special guest. Matt is one of the Conservative Party’s most energetic campaigners. At a General Election in which the national tide was very firmly against us, Matt bucked the trend and secured 20,372 votes to win Stockton West, defeating Labour and retaining his seat.

Since then, Matt has become an increasingly prominent voice for the Party. As Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party and a Shadow Minister, he is regularly front and centre putting forward the Conservative case, whether campaigning on the ground or taking the argument to our opponents through the media. Those who have heard Matt speak will also know that he is refreshingly candid. He is prepared to speak plainly about where we are as a Party, the lessons we need to learn and, crucially, what Conservatives need to do to start winning again. I think that will make for a particularly interesting discussion, and I am sure Matt will enjoy taking your questions.

The evening is also a chance to bring our local Conservative family together after a particularly busy period of campaigning in the Vale town council ward by-election. Come along for good food, good company and some lively political conversation with a rising star of the national Party. Tickets are £30, with a special £25 rate for Young Conservatives, for a 2-course meal. We will leave it up to guests to settle their own drinks bills, and of course there will be the mandatory raffle so bring some cash with you. Friends and family are very welcome, so please do bring some extra guests along.
