Join us for a Cacao Ceremony! Whether you're new to cacao or an experienced practitioner, this ceremony is open to everyone.
Cacao is a beautiful plant medicine that has been cherished for thousands of years by ancient civilisations for its powerful ability to connect us to the Spirit of Cacao. In those cultures, cacao was used not only for nourishment but also as a sacred tool for receiving wisdom and guidance from the heart.
A cacao ceremony is a deeply transformative experience that invites you to connect with yourself, open your heart, inspire creativity, and gain emotional clarity.
As the cacao works its magic, you’ll be guided through intention-setting, a shamanic drum journey, and sharing, all in a safe space. This ceremony provides the opportunity to clear blockages and experience the full power of cacao for yourself. It’s a deeply personal journey that often brings profound insights and healing.
Whether you’re seeking a new experience, personal growth, or simply feeling curious, this ceremony offers a welcoming space for relaxation, reflection, and connection.
Please note: Cacao may not be suitable for those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or if you’re pregnant. If you are on medication or have any health concerns, please consult a healthcare professional before attending.

Cacao and Contraindications
Cacao is generally safe for most people and has been used for centuries as a powerful plant medicine. However, there are important health considerations to be aware of:
Heart Conditions: Theobromine, a natural stimulant in cacao, increases heart rate and lowers blood pressure. If you have a heart condition or take medication for blood pressure, a smaller dose is advised.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Cacao is traditionally used safely during pregnancy in indigenous cultures, but its stimulant effects mean a smaller dose is recommended. Consult your healthcare provider if you are unsure.
Antidepressants and Medications:
If you are taking MAOI antidepressants, cacao is contraindicated as it contains tyramine.
If you are on SSRIs, a smaller dose is recommended due to possible interactions.
Avoid St. John’s Wort for a few days before and after the ceremony.
If you are taking 5-HTP, a reduced dose of cacao is recommended.
Antipsychotic medications: Cacao is not recommended if you are taking these.
Low Blood Pressure: Since cacao lowers blood pressure, it may not be suitable if you experience low blood pressure-related issues, such as dizziness or fainting.
Epilepsy: High doses of cacao may stimulate the brain, potentially increasing the risk of seizures. If you have epilepsy, cacao may not be suitable for you.
Caffeine Sensitivity or Migraines: While cacao contains significantly less caffeine than coffee, those sensitive to caffeine or prone to migraines should be cautious.
If you are on medication, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether cacao is suitable for you, please consult a healthcare professional before attending.
