Join us for a Cacao Ceremony including a Shamanic drum journey! Whether you're new to cacao or an experienced practitioner, this ceremony is open to everyone.

As the cacao works its magic, you’ll be guided with oracle cards, intention setting, a shamanic drum journey, and sharing circle - all in a safe space. This ceremony provides the opportunity to clear blockages and experience the full power of cacao for yourself. It’s a deeply personal journey that often brings profound insights and healing.

Cacao is a beautiful plant medicine that has been cherished for thousands of years by ancient civilisations for its powerful ability to connect us to the Spirit of Cacao. In those cultures, cacao was used not only for nourishment but also as a sacred tool for receiving wisdom and guidance from the heart.

A cacao ceremony is a deeply transformative experience that invites you to connect with yourself, open your heart, inspire creativity, and gain emotional clarity.

Whether you’re seeking a new experience, personal growth, or simply feeling curious, this ceremony offers a welcoming space for relaxation, reflection, and connection.

Please note: Cacao may not be suitable for those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or if you’re pregnant. If you are on medication or have any health concerns, please consult a healthcare professional before attending.

The Host:

Join me for a heart-centred cacao ceremony, and let’s connect deeply with ourselves, the Spirit of Cacao, and each other.

I am an intuitive Energy Healer – which means I discovered I could heal before I trained in any modality. My great-grandfather was a Hindu healer, so you could say it is in my blood.

I grew up surrounded by crystals, essential oils, energy healing and holistic therapies, and with an interest in the alternative! My spiritual healing journey began over a decade ago and I have healed many physical ailments by removing the energetic blockages at the root. I offer general energy clearing, balancing and healing, I am also able to assist with past traumas, inner child healing, cord cutting, entity removal and spiritual protection.

I love Cacao! Having experience first hand the heart opening and healing properties of Cacao, I trained as a Cacao Ceremony Facilitator and I enjoy creating sacred spaces to connect with ourselves, one another, and the plant medicine of Mama Cacao through Shamanic drumming journeys, meditations, and group healing.

Cacao and Contraindications

Cacao is generally safe for most people and has been used for centuries as a powerful plant medicine. However, there are important health considerations to be aware of:

Heart Conditions: Theobromine, a natural stimulant in cacao, increases heart rate and lowers blood pressure. If you have a heart condition or take medication for blood pressure, a smaller dose is advised.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Cacao is traditionally used safely during pregnancy in indigenous cultures, but its stimulant effects mean a smaller dose is recommended. Consult your healthcare provider if you are unsure.

Antidepressants and Medications:

If you are taking MAOI antidepressants, cacao is contraindicated as it contains tyramine.

If you are on SSRIs, a smaller dose is recommended due to possible interactions.

Avoid St. John’s Wort for a few days before and after the ceremony.

If you are taking 5-HTP, a reduced dose of cacao is recommended.

Antipsychotic medications: Cacao is not recommended if you are taking these.

Low Blood Pressure: Since cacao lowers blood pressure, it may not be suitable if you experience low blood pressure-related issues, such as dizziness or fainting.

Epilepsy: High doses of cacao may stimulate the brain, potentially increasing the risk of seizures. If you have epilepsy, cacao may not be suitable for you.

Caffeine Sensitivity or Migraines: While cacao contains significantly less caffeine than coffee, those sensitive to caffeine or prone to migraines should be cautious.

If you are on medication, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether cacao is suitable for you, please consult a healthcare professional before attending.
