TOPIC: Efficient Fundraising
In an era of changing donor preferences, arts organizations must develop diverse fundraising strategies to ensure long-term sustainability. This workshop provides a clear pathway to achieving this by focusing on transforming existing audiences into donors. Participants will explore audience development and retention techniques, learn effective donor stewardship, and discover creative revenue diversification methods. This session is tailored for novice and experienced creative professionals, providing practical tools and insights to help secure their organization's financial future.

FACILITATOR: Kaitlyn Hardiman - Oklahoma Arts Management Solutions, A Division of Measure Up, LLC
Kaitlyn Hardiman is an experienced arts administrator with a Ph.D (c) in Arts Administration and
over fourteen years of experience working in the sector. She founded Oklahoma Arts
Management Solutions (OKAMS) as a consulting organization that measures the impact of arts
organizations on their communities. Through OKAMS, she has helped these organizations
increase their funding, expand their audience base, and enhance their digital presence, with
achievements like a 600% increase in grant support and a 225% expansion in the revenue
portfolios. Additionally, Kaitlyn teaches resource mobilization, grant writing, and
entrepreneurship at Oklahoma City University and Ohio University. She contributes to scholarly
publications such as Routledge's Financial Management in Museums, has served as the
editorial assistant for the Oxford Handbook of Arts Administration, and presents arts-based
research at internationally based nonprofit and cultural conferences. Kaitlyn's work focuses on
delivering direct, practical strategies to help arts organizations assess and amplify their
community impact.
