Take part is a special day at Cowley Adventure, exclusively for Brownies.

What’s included? 

Led by experienced Girlguiding volunteers, our Brownie badge days are packed with fun activities, group challenges and games, and provide the perfect opportunity to make new friends during the school holidays. The days are built around the Brownie programme, and participants will receive a Brownie interest badge at the end. There will be a mixture of crafts, games, treasure hunts, team challenges and outdoor adventures, making the day feel like an extra-long Brownie meeting!

Whether your Brownie comes along with friends from her unit or attends independently, she'll enjoy an exciting day full of fun, friendship and adventure.

This special Brownie adventure is being run by Girlguiding volunteers from across Gloucestershire, who are generously giving their time to make the day a success. All volunteers have completed the relevant Girlguiding training and hold the appropriate qualifications for their role, including enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training, with first aiders on site throughout the event.

We hope to run several sessions throughout the summer holidays and will aim to make each event unique, allowing Brownies to attend multiple days and enjoy new activities each time. If you have any questions please reach out to the team directly: events@cowleyadventure.co.uk

What to bring  

Please ensure your Brownie brings:

• A waterproof coat – we'll be outdoors whatever the weather.
• A named sunhat and sun cream
• A packed lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle. A substantial lunch is recommended to keep energy levels high throughout the day.
• A small amount of pocket money (optional) for a visit to our on-site shop. Brownies can practice their independence and money skills while choosing from a range of badges, souvenirs, toys and treats.

Booking as a unit

Leaders wishing to book places for a group from their unit should complete the online booking form for the required number of Brownies. Then please contact us at events@cowleyadenture.co.uk to ensure we have sufficient documentation for each participant. If leaders from your unit are available to attend and support, help would be greatly appreciated.
