Three Performances of Cafe Neckbeard: Irresistible. Written and performed by Chris Bower.
In Cafe Neckbeard: Irresistible, PR representative Chris Bower unveils the latest offering from Anton “*” Anis, proprietor of THLSN’s only 24-hour, cash-only, celiac-intolerant fine dining establishment, as he debuts a menu designed to be “irresistible” to those with diminished oral tastebuds, with the goal of reaching taste receptors in other, less traditional parts of the body.
This show is about tastebuds, throat cancer, and what it is like to have 135 jobs, which is coincidentally the same number of chapters in Herman Melville's Moby Dick, if you don't count (and we don't count) Etymology, Extracts, and Epilogue as chapters.
All tickets are $20 or pay-what-you-can at the door (cash-only)
