3-2-1: A Michelin Grapes Blind Tasting
3-2-1: A Michelin Grapes Blind Tasting
Launched this year, the Michelin Guide's new one-, two-, and three-grape classification presents Burgundy lovers an entirely new framework to think about the region's greatest domaines. This tasting is an invitation to experience that framework blind, and pressure-test whether in-bottle results correspond to the Guide's hierarchical arrangement.
Over eighteen bottles tasted blind, we'll explore a star-studded field to answer a simple question: what qualities, if any, distinguish Three-Grape domaines from Two- and One-Grape producers? Which patterns emerge when every wine is judged solely on what is in the glass?
Featured producers include:
- Roumier
- Coche-Dury
- Dugat-Py
- Dujac
- Comtes Lafon
- Sauzet
- Arnoux-Lachaux
- Roulot
- Ramonet
- ...and many more.
18 wines tasted blind featuring an even spread of Three-Grape, Two-Grape, One-Grape, and Selected domaines.
