Pottery workshop - Christmas Candle holders

Get in the festive spirit (albeit a little early*) and create some beautiful gifts for Christmas.

Come along and join us to learn how to make and decorate your own pair of Christmas Candle holders.

In this session, Caitriona will show you how to make your very own Christmas creations. Starting with a ball of clay, you'll be given a detailed demonstration of how to create your own set of candle holders, perfect for your mantle or even your table. You'll then be able to decorate it whilst you're there, using specialist glazes, with plenty of guidance and help available throughout. 

Refreshments will be available.

No previous experience is needed. You'll be able to learn a new skill and go wild with your creative ideas. The group is limited in number ensuring that you have detailed guidance throughout. All tools and materials will be provided and, just in case, don't wear your best clothes!! 

After the class, your creations will be taken home and fired by Caitriona, who will get them back to you finished and ready to show off to your family and friends. 

Serious bits: No physical ticket is provided, we'll make a note of booking names and check on arrival. Please arrive on time or 5 minutes before to ensure you have as much time to create as possible. These workshops are for age 16+, separate child and family classes will be available at a later date.

Cancellations: if you are no longer available to attend, let me know as soon as you can so that I can try to fill the space. A fee of £10 will be kept for any cancellation within 5 days of the event. There will be no refunds available within 48hrs of the event. 

* yes - its early for Christmas but this is to ensure your work is back with you in time for December
