We Will Rock You

Caldicot Musical Theatre Company proudly presents We Will Rock You, the explosive rock musical featuring the music and lyrics of Queen, with story and script by Ben Elton, written in collaboration with Brian May and Roger Taylor.

This high-octane musical features more than 20 iconic Queen hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Are the Champions”, “Somebody to Love”, “Don’t Stop Me Now” and of course “We Will Rock You”. 

Set in a post-apocalyptic future where individuality has been outlawed and music is controlled by algorithms, the story follows two young revolutionaries, Galileo and Scaramouche, who dream of a world where people can play real instruments and express themselves freely. Joining a band of rebel “Bohemians,” they search for the lost instruments of rock legends, battling the corporate tyrant Killer Queen and her henchman Khashoggi along the way.

We Will Rock You made West End history with a 12-year run at London’s Dominion Theatre, rocking over 7 million fans and going on to be performed in 28 countries, seen by more than 16 million people worldwide. 

It’s a celebration of the power of music and individuality, packed with electrifying energy and Queen’s legendary sound.
