In 2023, Earth Equity gathered a team of formerly incarcerated leaders to build SeaForester - California’s first worker owned seaweed farming and reentry support organization. This film shows how system-impacted Indigenous people and seaweed are working together for ecological, economic, and cultural healing through food sovereignty, coastal protection, and reentry care.
