Workforce Youth Engagement Training Online Registration
The California Workforce Association and K-Rahn Vallatine are partnering to organize and facilitate the Workforce Youth Engagement Training sessions that discuss the aspects of engaging youth in a trauma organized culture. Topics that will be covered are the social context of gang and drug impacted youth, engaging youth in the workforce, trauma informed care approaches, the community trauma that influences the youth, and the needs of drug and gang impacted youth in the workforce. K-Rahn Vallatine will also provide context on his newly released book, Beyond the Crack Generation: Surviving A Trauma Organized Culture.
This training is open to all Workforce Development Professionals including Workforce Board Members and their staff, K-12 providers, Adult Education providers, Youth Providers and American Job Centers of California staff.
