Day at the Capitol is a full day of meeting with key legislators and staff in Sacramento to discuss the workforce development goings-on in our members’ local areas, as well as to inform legislators about the bills that the California Workforce Association is sponsoring, supporting, and opposing that are coming before them.

CWA's Day at the Capitol is the best chance we have to meet and greet local legislators, from those in leadership to representatives of our home districts.

Registration is now open and will close December 31, 2022.

We strongly encourage early registration and request that each workforce board send a team of no more than five individuals. NOTE: Some meetings may limit attendees to only three people depending on the Legislator.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations processed by 1/20/23 will receive a full refund. No cancellations will be accepted after 1/20/2023. If you paid by credit card, cancellations may be processed directly through the event website. If you paid with a check, cancellations must be received by email only: iorellana@calworkforce.org. We are very sorry, however, there will be absolutely no refunds for cancellations after 1/20/2023. Individuals that have not canceled by that date may modify their attendance and send another person in their place.
