An evening with Natalie Holmes + Ben Cipolla (Live at St Pancras Old Church)

Thu 1 Oct 2026 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM St Pancras Old Church, NW1 1UL

Ben Cipolla & Natalie Holmes present a one-night-only celebration of new music, raw emotion, and unforgettable storytelling — performed in one of London’s most atmospheric venues (with some one night only collaborative moments ✨)

~

Known for her haunting yet uplifting alt-pop, Natalie Holmes is a UK songwriter whose music will resonate deeply with all identifying as a cerebral wanderer. Her debut album Vitamin Be (2022), praised by 6 Music and BBC Introducing, explored themes of mental health, self-reflection, and the profound effects of nature on both — all through a self-produced, organic yet dreamlike soundscape, capturing the complex nature of modern life.

With her second album Opposite Day (released Oct 2025), Natalie continues to convey the dizzying emotional highs and lows of today's world, crafting songs that hold emotional contradictions with both humour, grace and a pinch of grit. Inspired by artists like Aurora and Caroline Polachek, she aims to help listeners feel heard, grounded and uplifted — even in chaos.

Performing alongside violinist Boci, Natalie will present songs from both albums in a beautifully stripped-back setting, making full use of the church’s charming upright piano and spine tingling acoustics.

The evening will also mark an exclusive launch celebration for Hot Tub Tears: Part One, the first chapter of Ben Cipolla’s forthcoming album. Based in Bristol and inspired by his Sicilian heritage, Cipolla has released two acclaimed albums, including Casa Mia, and will be performing his new record live from start to finish. Ben will unveil the album’s first seven songs in a captivating solo set that blends intricate guitar textures, live looping, and atmospheric electronics. Drawing inspiration from the soulful depth of Sampha and James Blake, while retaining the timeless simplicity of John Martyn and Nick Drake, Hot Tub Tears explores heartbreak, healing, and the people who help us find our way back to ourselves.

With performances at the BBC Swing Jazz Prom at the Royal Albert Hall, WOMAD, Manchester Jazz Festival and Shambala, alongside national airplay on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and BBC Introducing, Cipolla continues to carve his own path with authenticity, warmth and understated brilliance.

Throughout the night, Ben and Natalie will share the stories behind their songs, and collide for some one night only collaborative moments.
