Celebrate Camarada’s 30th anniversary season with an enchanting evening featuring a few of our favorite pieces, with music by Bohuslav Martinu, Gilad Cohen, Georges Gershwin, Philippe Gaubert, and Claude Debussy. Dip into whimsy with Gaubert’s Médailles Antiques for flute, violin, and piano. Czech composer Bohuslav Martinu shines on this program with his Trio for flute, viola, and piano, which uniquely blends traditional Czech folk elements with modernist techniques, and we’ll also relish in the timeless beauty of Debussy’s Clair de Lune.

Camarada has partnered with the Artifact Café to offer patrons an exclusive pre-concert prix fixe meal in the heart of Balboa Park. Artifact Café features renowned craft cooking inspired by ancient methods, spices, and botanicals, and it is located at the entry level of Mingei International Museum.

Mingei International Museum offers insightful exhibitions on arts and culture. Admission to Mingei International Museum is included in the purchase of your ticket to Luscious. The museum will be open prior to the concert and will stay open until 8:00 pm.
