Low-Speed Riding Skills Training Day

COURSE OUTLINE

CAM is developing a low-speed skills training structured around the ARC competencies for Associates.

The course delivers two separate training sessions, each for up to 4 associates and their allocated Observers, please arrange your diary with your associate and book ONE of the sessions here in Ticket Tailor. Associates should contact their Observer to request this training.

There are two sessions booked at CRC initially to get the events going, 11^th July and 15^th August, more are planned to follow

The course is free to Associates at this point in time.

The Associates will need to sign a disclaimer.

Course Description:

Each session will focus on the skills identified in section 8 of the ARC coursebook.

1. Course briefing, disclaimers, objectives and process
2. Discussion to understand Associates issues and objectives
3. Outline of techniques and skills required for each competency
4. A practical demonstration of each competency by the course facilitators
5. Discussion with Observers and Associates
6. Practice of each competency by Associates
7. Wrap up and questions and development plans.

Restrictions:

This ride is restricted to 4 Observers and their current Associates

Ride Brief for Associates:

Please make sure you have a half full tank of fuel, your bike has been cleaned and ready for precision riding. Riding gear should be as for the road, safe and fit for purpose, and make sure you have a good sleep before and bring water and food should you need that.
