Building biotech companies with Cambridge Innovation Capital
with Laurent Jespers, Entrepreneur in Residence, Cambridge Innovation Capital
We welcome you to our next Innovation Breakfast in June at the CRUK Cambridge Institute on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
Explore the 2025 UK biotech investment landscape with Laurent Jespers, Entrepreneur in Residence at Cambridge Innovation Capital, who will highlight where opportunities are emerging across seed to Series A funding and key therapeutic areas, and outline what is needed to translate scientific breakthroughs into viable spinouts. The session will also examine how Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC) supports ventures from early company-building through to Series A.
Drawing on his background in pharma and biotech leadership, Laurent will discuss the role of an Entrepreneur in Residence in helping bridge the gap between academic science and clinical development. He will also share how operational expertise, experienced leadership and world-class science can help attract investment, de-risk early-stage ventures and support the growth of the next generation of biotech companies
This event is in person only.
