Costumes are encouraged as we fill the hall with spooky sounds, magical melodies, and orchestral favourites inspired by mystery, adventure, and Halloween. What music comes to mind when you think of witches, ghosts, monsters, or magical adventures? You might be surprised by how many familiar tunes have their roots in classical music!
Featuring the vibrant and talented Cambridge Youth Orchestra, this engaging concert is a fantastic introduction to live orchestral music for children and families. It's the perfect chance to spark curiosity, inspire young imaginations, and create lasting memories together.
This special performance will also feature two of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra's own musicians, Genevieve Schirm-Joyce and Noah Schuster, as soloists in Antonio Vivaldi's Double Cello Concerto—a dazzling showcase of musical artistry and collaboration that audiences of all ages are sure to enjoy.
