Comrade Tambo‘s London Recruits is an international, multi-award winning documentary. It tells the true story of how Oliver Tambo secretly recruited a group of young people from London to go undercover for the ANC inside apartheid South Africa during the early 1970s.
Variety Magazine hailed it as 'an edge of your seats documentary thriller'.
Amongst other awards, the film won Best Documentary 2024 at Joburg Film Festival and Best Anti Racist Film 2025 at Festival Santiago Alvarez in Cuba.
This special screening will be followed by a Q&A panel and audience discussion with guests, including the director, an original 'London Recruit' as featured in the film and others
