Cambridge Zero Community Day 2026

Join us at our Community Day 2026! A free, family-friendly celebration of climate action, community resilience, creativity, and sustainability. Through the theme "Shaping the Possible: Act, Make, Reflect," the day brings together local organisations, researchers, artists, academics, campaigners, and community groups to explore practical ways of creating a more sustainable future.

Visitors can enjoy a diverse programme of interactive stalls, workshops, talks, films, storytelling sessions, nature experiences and more. Meet local organisations working on environmental and social issues, discover different initiatives across Cambridgeshire, learn about climate migration, sustainable living, biodiversity, circular economy solutions, and ways to take positive action in your own community.

Highlights include:

• Interactive exhibits and community stalls from local organisations and campaign groups
• Family activities, children's story sessions, and environmental storytelling
• Upcycling workshops and creative sustainability activities
• Film screenings and talks on climate, conservation, Indigenous leadership, and sustainable futures
• A guided birdwatching experience (separate booking. Please book here)
• Opportunities to connect with local community networks and environmental projects

Whether you're already involved in environmental initiatives or simply curious about how communities can shape a more sustainable future, our Community Day offers an inspiring space to learn, connect, and take part.
