Payment Options

PayPal (Integrated Checkout)

If you choose to pay using PayPal through our integrated checkout, the full retreat balance must be paid at the time of booking.

If you would prefer to spread the cost, you may select PayPal’s “Pay in 3” option during checkout. This allows you to split the payment into three instalments directly through PayPal.

Please note:

• A £50 deposit is included within the total retreat price.
• This deposit remains non-refundable, in line with our standard booking terms.
• All other retreat terms and conditions remain the same regardless of payment method.

Bank Transfer (Deposit Option)

If you would prefer to pay a deposit now and the remaining balance later, please select the Bank Transfer payment option at checkout.

• • A £50 non-refundable deposit secures your place.
  • The deposit must be paid within 48 hours of booking.
  • If the deposit is not received within this time, the booking will be cancelled and the place released.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the retreat, in line with the retreat payment deadlines.
  
  Payment schedules for Herts are now changed as follows; 
• A £50 non-refundable & non-transferable deposit is payable upon booking with;
• £70 to be paid 12 weeks before 
• The remaining cost to be paid in full 6 weeks beforehand.
• For this retreats, payment dates are as follows; 
  • £50 deposit required on booking
  • A further £70 due by 22nd January
  • The final £135 is due by 5th March

If booking within 12 weeks of the retreat, the deposit of 50 + 70 is due upon booking. Any bookings within 6 weeks of the retreat date require the full payment upon booking

Cancellation Policy

A request for a refund for a cancelled place can be made up to 4 weeks before the retreat, and you will be refunded the cost you have paid for the retreat minus the £50 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. Any requests for cancellation after this deadline will be liable for the full cost of the retreat and a refund will not be possible.

If you have had a sponsorship amount put towards your place and can no longer attend, the above policy applies regarding any amount you have personally contributed. If you then cancel within 7 days before the retreat, this will incur an additional charge, as your place will already be paid for at the venue. For cancellations within 7 days, you will be charged for a third of the sponsored amount.

Terms and Conditions for booking CTBR retreats

Booking On Guidance

- Please provide full details, including full name for each booking, as we cannot transfer places to others.

- If you're unsure who will use the ticket, it's best not to purchase until you're sure of their attendance, as it cannot be transferred to someone else.

- This policy is in place to allow waitlisted guests the chance to attend and ensure the safeguarding of attendees at the venue.

- The deposit is non-refundable

- The remaining payment can be refunded up to 4 weeks before the retreat, both if you have booked for yourself or booked someone else on.

- You cannot transfer payments for retreats between Came to Believe Retreats as admin is managed separately for each retreat.

- The only animals permitted at retreats are service dogs, however, we are bound by the venue guidelines, so please inform us promptly so we can liaise with the venue

- It is important to remember that spiritual support complements, not replaces, professional medical or counselling services.

- To ensure your safety as our attendee, CTBR UK has policies and procedures for how we operate.

Please consider the following questions;

• Are you physically or chemically dependent on a substance, such as alcohol, benzo's, GHB, or opiates?
• Are you awaiting a detox/an in-patient stay?

• Are you at risk of serious physical withdrawal?

If you answer yes to all three of these questions, you MUST NOT book or attend the retreat without first consulting with a relevant medical professional. Our team are not medically qualified for this event, and thus cannot provide you with the immediate medical support you may need if you went into severe withdrawal.

CTBR UK reserves the right to cancel your ticket if we feel there is a risk to yourself or others based on the above safety policy. We can only refund you (minus deposit) if this cancellation is done before the cancellation date stated above. This does not exclude you from attending a retreat in the future when safe and possible to do so.

Booking this retreat confirms you agree to all booking terms and conditions stated here, as on our website.

Please Note - When booking on behalf of another person, the responsibility for payment and these booking conditions lies with you, so we recommend you encourage attendees to book themselves

Clarence’s story is in the first three editions of the Big Book (#11, “The Home Brewmeister”). Using the AA Big Book, the 12 Steps, and the life-changing principles of the Oxford Group, the retreat shows you the way we have recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and are now living in freedom from addictions. “…pick up the simple kit of spiritual tools…” as described in the A.A. Big Book, page 25.
