Campout Crew Weekend

The Campout Crew volunteers weekend at Trealy Farm is set for mid-May, as spring bursts into full flower. The farm is two miles outside Monmouth, not far from the motorway network, situated in spectacular countryside with views from the hills over the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

The weekend will begin on Friday afternoon May 10th with arrival from 5pm. Trealy Farm is under half an hour by road from the 3 Pools Farm, this year’s Campout venue (August 8-11th) and we plan to do a reccy visit to 3 Pools on Saturday, to view the venue and start to imagine how we best use the space for our second year there.

We plan to self cater this year, so will discuss this in advance. On Friday evening we will eat together (we feel it is important that we all eat meals together). Daytimes (apart from the visit) will be spent planning our 2025 event and evolving the organisation of our team for this year. On Saturday night, there will be a social with music  / or a campfire, depending on weather.

Campfire will cover the cost of the venue rental for the weekend.

Accommodation covering Friday and Saturday evening is available via direct booking with Ruth at the farm in various rooms, pods, log houses, and caravans , which includes bedding and towels (bring your own for swimming), use of Pavilion (large group meeting / function room, kitchen, bathroom, wood-fired sauna), infra red sauna, outdoor fresh water pool, arena and surrounding 138 acres of hillside, woodland etc. Prices range from £35 pp per night to £65 pp per night.
