New Works Festival

Step inside this winter and discover the next wave of Chicago storytellers at Campfire Repertory Theatre’s New Works Festival.

As part of our femme-forward season, the festival brings bold new voices, fresh perspectives, and deeply human stories together for an evening that moves through the ebbs and flows of emotion, from laughter and warmth to reflection, tension, and everything in between.

This year’s festival features a new play by Campfire Artistic Director Christian Alexander, alongside Gumbo and exciting work from artists helping shape the future of Chicago theatre.

Come get cozy, experience something new, and be among the first audiences to say, “I saw it before everyone else did.”

New voices. New stories. All the feels.
