The Canadian Automotive Museum's annual Family Park & Picnic returns this summer! Join us for a scenic drive from the Canadian Automotive Museum to Scugog Shores Museum Village, where we'll enjoy a guided tour of this fascinating heritage village followed by lunch.

Bring your classic car or your daily driver, everyone is welcome! This relaxed, family-friendly outing is a great opportunity to explore local history, spend time with fellow museum supporters, and enjoy a summer afternoon together.

Date: Saturday, August 29th 
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Lunch at 12:45 p.m.)
Where: Meet at the Canadian Automotive Museum (99 Simcoe St. S., Oshawa) at 10:00 a.m. and depart at 10:30 a.m. for Scugog Shores Museum Village (16210 Island Rd, Port Perry)
Cost: $60/adult (non-members), $45/adult (museum members), $25/child (ages 4–12), Free for children 3 and under.

What to Expect

• Tickets include admission to Scugog Shores Museum Village, a guided tour, and lunch.
• Meet at the Canadian Automotive Museum at 9:30 a.m. before departing together at 10:00 a.m. for a scenic drive to the museum village.
• Enjoy a guided tour through the historic buildings and exhibits, learning about life in Durham Region during the 19th century.
• Relax with lunch outdoors at Willowtree Farms.
• Participants are welcome to bring a classic car or their everyday vehicle.
• Dress for the weather, as portions of the event will take place outdoors.
• This is a family-friendly event, and children of all ages are welcome.
