Ready for some fun? Join us in-person at the newly renovated Canadian Polish Society Hall in St. Catharines for a relaxed Board Game Day!

Niagara Escapement (niagaraescapement.ca) and the Canadian Polish Society (canadianpolishsociety.com)

are joining forces to bring you a curated collection of modern board games — from quick 20-minute card games to immersive three-hour+ strategy sessions. Whether you love outwitting opponents in games like Ticket to Ride, Wingspan, 7 Wonders or Terraforming Mars, prefer cooperative adventures like Bandido or Hanabi where everyone wins (or loses) together, or just want something light and social like Telestrations or Flip 7, we've got you covered at every skill level.

Bring your friends or come solo and meet fellow enthusiasts as we dive into some friendly competition. Let's make it a day full of great games and even better company!

Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?

Yes, there is a ramp from the parking lot to the hall

Is this event kid-friendly?

Attendees under the age of 18 should have adult supervision. Most games at the event will not be suitable for players under 14.

Can I bring my own games to play?

We know how much of a struggle it can be for a specific game to hit the table at home, so are happy to encourage you to bring your own games that you've been itching to play, just please be sure to label your games as we will end up with multiple copies of the same ones so want to ensure your copy ends up back in your hands at the end of the day!

Can I buy food and drinks at the hall?

There will be a selection of snacks and drinks for purchase (cash/credit/debit accepted); if the minimum number of registered attendees is reached prior to Aug 1st, a selection of hot foods such as perogies and sausages will also be made available - follow the facebook event page for updates:
