Jill has been practicing calligraphy for over 40 years and still enjoys learning new scripts and techniques. For many decades Jill has also taught calligraphy, an activity that she loves.

Description:

Jill came across this script online and thought it was very clever. Jill has used the script for greetings cards, but essentially we can use this script for whatever we like, including ads. Or you may like to invent your own double alphabet and have fun with that. The goal will be to make two greeting cards.

Material list:

• Layout paper
• A couple of pieces of good paper to make cards. Any size card will be fine, but it will be for making greetings cards, so needs to be able to stand up, and big enough for a greeting. Consider what colour you’d like and whether smooth or textured cardstock suits you better
•  Pencils, erasers, ruler
• Coloured pencils, watercolour pencils, other colours for backgrounds to card, or some bling??
• Black and coloured fine tip markers
• A light box would be very useful.
