The jumps are made from 10,000 feet (approximately 3,000 metres high) and last for 30-40 seconds of freefall, followed by a scenic flight in the parachute where you enjoy the views for 5-7 minutes before landing at the Maspalomas Dunes in Playa del Inglés.

• MINIMUM / MAXIMUM AGE:

• There is no maximum age limit, however for people over 60, weight, general health and level of fitness/fitness are factors that are considered and could be cause for cancellation of tandem skydiving for safety reasons.

• WEIGHT: Persons weighing more than 90kg are assessed before confirming the jump. The maximum weight (pending assessment) is 105kg.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The tandem jump is the fastest and safest way to get to know the exciting world of skydiving.

You will experience the same sensations as an expert skydiver in freefall and during the parachute flight, but without the need for previous experience.

You will be welcomed at the iJump office in the office Nº2 of Annex 2 in Playa del Ingles, where you will fill in the forms before the jump.

Once the registration has been processed, you will be fitted with the harness with which will be attached to the instructor during the experience. You will then receive a briefing (a short 5 minute training session) explaining the position to adopt during the exit from the aircraft, free fall and parachute landing.

Following the preparations, your instructor will begin to capture the whole experience. After the initial interview, you will be transferred by iJump staff to the Aerodrome El Berriel, from where they will take off in the aircraft.

Once at El Berriel, the instructor will continue to capture the entire experience on video and photos, including, moments before and during boarding, views from the plane during the ascent to the jump altitude, the exit from the aircraft, the freefall, the opening of the canopy, the parachute flight over Playa del Ingles and the Maspalomas Dunes, the parachute landing and a final interview after landing.

The price per person for tandem skydiving is €279, this is a special price exclusive to Adventure Week. Digital products are not included in the price of the tandem jump (the activity).

If purchased the video that you receive is professionally edited and has an approximate duration of 3 to 5 minutes. The video is produced in full HD and includes pre-boarding moments, panoramic views during the ascent, the jump from the plane, the freefall, the parachute flight, the landing and a post-landing report. iJump owns the copyright of all the music used in the videos, so they can be published on all social media platforms without restrictions.

The digital photo package includes a minimum of 50 to 100 photos from 20MP to 24MP, capturing the entire experience from start to finish, as does the video package.

Digital video and photo packages can be combined.

An additional surcharge applies to participants weighing more than 90 kg and will be subject to assessment by the Tandem Master. The maximum weight limit is 105 kg subject to assessment.

All participants must be of legal age (18+) or, in the case of minors, they must be accompanied by their legal guardian, who must sign an authorisation.

- Weight Charge - For people weighing over 90kg, an assessment is made before confirming that the jump can proceed. When the jump is confirmed, an additional charge of €50 applies for people weighing 90kg to 105kg.

Once the booking is confirmed, CanCanaria will contact you confirming the check-in time and location.

While the activity is normally completed in approximately 90 minutes from check-in to the end of the experience, it is essential that you have no time constraints in case of delays (e.g. weather, air traffic, etc.).

In the event that the check-in time needs to be changed due to weather or other factors, iJump will contact you well in advance to change the day or time.

Beyond the tandem jump, the client can choose to purchase digital products (photos and/or video), which will be sent to the client by email on the day of the jump.

All digital products are produced with state-of-the-art HD equipment and, in the case of the video, it is professionally edited with copyrighted music so it can be used on any of the social platforms without restrictions.
