CanCanaria Adventure Week invites you on a day of nature, wine, and culture – as we explore one of Gran Canaria’s most iconic natural landmarks followed by a beautiful tasting experience at the family-run Bodega Los Lirios, nestled on the slopes of the Bandama crater.

🚌 Itinerary

✅ Transport from Maspalomas – Relax as we arrange group transportation from the south to the north of the island (around 1 hour).
✅ Hike Begins at the Bodega – From Bodega Los Lirios, we begin a scenic walk to the crater.
✅ Pico de Bandama + Crater Rim Trail – Enjoy panoramic views across Gran Canaria.
✅ Photo Stops & Optional Bar Break – We’ll pause at the best viewpoints, and there’s the option to enjoy a drink at a nearby terrace before returning.

🍷 Bodega Experience

After the hike, we return to Bodega Los Lirios, where you’ll enjoy:
🍇 A guided vineyard tour through this protected natural park.
🧀 Individual tasting plates of Canarian cheese and traditional snacks.
🍷 A glass of Los Lirios wine, produced right here on the volcanic slopes.

This small, family-owned vineyard offers a glimpse into the island’s deep winemaking tradition, with 16 varieties of grapes grown onsite.

  • A light jacket (weather can change)

🔍 About Bandama & Bodega Los Lirios

Bandama Crater is a dramatic volcanic formation just outside Las Palmas. Over 200 metres deep and nearly a kilometre wide, it was formed by a powerful eruption a few thousand years ago. The hike around the rim offers sweeping views, and the descent into the crater gives a glimpse into the island’s volcanic origins.

Bodega Los Lirios is a small, family-owned vineyard perched on the edge of the Bandama crater. Surrounded by protected landscape, it produces handcrafted wines from both local and international grapes. A visit here offers not only a taste of Gran Canaria’s winemaking tradition but also a genuine connection to the people and history of the island.
