Event Description
Discover one of the most spectacular hiking routes in Gran Canaria on this guided mountain adventure from San Bartolomé de Tirajana to Pico de las Nieves, the island’s highest point at 1,949 metres above sea level.
This unforgettable route takes you deep into the dramatic mountain landscapes of the island, passing through ancient Canary pine forests, rocky mountain trails, and breathtaking panoramic viewpoints along the way. As you climb higher into the heart of Gran Canaria, you’ll experience a completely different side of the island—far removed from the beaches and tourist resorts of the south.
Throughout the hike, there will be incredible opportunities to enjoy views across the island, including viewpoints towards the iconic Roque Nublo and, on particularly clear days, even distant views of Mount Teide rising above the neighbouring island of Tenerife.
As part of CanCanaria Adventure Week, this hike combines adventure, nature, wellbeing, and social connection in a welcoming and supportive group environment.
