Event Description

Discover the spectacular landscapes of north-west Gran Canaria on this scenic guided hike from El Hornillo into the beautiful Valle de Agaete.

This unforgettable route takes you through dramatic volcanic mountains, peaceful countryside, and traditional Canarian villages before descending into the lush green Agaete Valley, one of the island’s most unique and fertile regions.

Along the way, you’ll experience breathtaking views across the valley, pass pine forests and tropical vegetation, and explore landscapes that feel completely different from the south of the island. The hike finishes with a visit to a local coffee plantation, where you’ll discover one of Europe’s only coffee-growing regions and learn more about this fascinating part of Gran Canaria’s agricultural history.
