Event Description
Explore the green heart of Gran Canaria on this beautiful mountain hike from Valsendero to Cruz de Tejeda, one of the island’s most iconic mountain viewpoints.
This scenic route takes you through lush monteverde and laurel forest landscapes, peaceful rural mountain areas, and traditional hiking trails used for generations across central Gran Canaria. Along the way, you’ll experience a completely different side of the island, surrounded by fresh mountain air, volcanic scenery, and dramatic panoramic views.
As the hike climbs towards Cruz de Tejeda, the landscape opens up to reveal spectacular viewpoints across the mountains of the island. On clear days, there may even be views towards Roque Nublo and the distant silhouette of Mount Teide rising above Tenerife.
