Scuba Diving First Steps:

Welcome to a world underwater, these courses will help you discover the spectacular coastlines of Gran Canaria. If you are an experienced diver please check out our Scuba Diving Get Certified or Scuba Diving Go Pro Courses. 

Discover Scuba Diving:

• Minimum age: 10 years old
• Requirements: A medical statement must be completed upon arrival, not available to pregnant women. No alcohol must be consumed prior to diving.
• Duration: 2-3 hours
• Price: 85 €

• The Discover scuba dive allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters with no prior experience!
• Our PADI qualified instructors shall give you a detailed explanation of the logistics of the day, the apparatus you shall be using, the marine life in Gran Canaria and all safety aspects.
• At the dive site, full training shall be provided which takes approximately 20 minutes and includes basic scuba diving skills which ensure you are comfortable and prepared enough to take your first breaths underwater! However, we are more than willing to spend extra time to ensure you are relaxed and comfortable before proceeding on to the dive.
• The dive shall last approximately 40 minutes depending on air consumption. This is more than enough time to be enthralled with the abundance of marine life that Gran Canaria has to offer, such as Angel Sharks, a native breed of shark common to Gran Canaria.
• Photos and videos can be purchased upon request

Scuba Diver Refresher:

• Minimum age: 10 years old
• Requirements: Scuba diver certification or above. A medical statement must be completed upon arrival, not available to pregnant women. No alcohol must be consumed prior to diving.
• Duration: 2-3 hours
• Price: 70€

• The Scuba Diving refresher is the easiest way to refresh and perfect your scuba diving skills. You may find this course useful if you are a newly certified diver who wishes to build up your confidence in the water or you simply haven’t dived in a while.
• The refresher course consists of perfecting some of the fundamental scuba diving skills in confined water. The skills include: Mask removal, alternative air source use, emergency weight belt drop and neutral buoyancy. Also equipment assembly/disassembly and maintenance.
• After your memory has been refreshed and you feel comfortable you will then be guided on a dive under direct supervision. The dive shall last approximately 40 minutes.
• Hotel transfers are available from all popular tourist destinations including Puerto Rico, Playa Del Ingles, Puerto De Mogan, Bahia Feliz and Arguineguin!

Snorkelling Safari

• Minimum age: No age requirements
• Duration: 2-3 hours
• Price: 45 €

• The snorkelling safari is an adventure for the whole family, open to children and adults alike.
• The course starts with an introduction to the abundance of marine life in Gran Canaria using our fish identification book.
• Your PADI qualified instructor shall also demonstrate the correct way to snorkel and the appropriate safety requirements.
• The excursion takes place in Amadores Bay or depending on weather conditions discovery bay in El Cabron can also be arranged for you.
• Snorkelling is a great way to build your confidence in the water and to have a fun packed morning!
