Building Obedience Through Motivation and Communication

Puppy Academy 2 is designed for puppies who are ready to begin learning formal obedience skills in a fun, engaging, and rewarding way. Using food lures and marker-based training, this class teaches puppies how to understand and enjoy the learning process without relying on leash pressure or physical guidance.

Throughout the course, you and your puppy will learn foundational obedience behaviors such as Sit, Down, Place, Come, and Heel while developing the focus and engagement needed for future training success. You'll also learn how to clearly communicate with your puppy, reinforce desired behaviors, and build a strong working relationship based on trust and motivation.

This course is ideal for puppies who have completed Puppy Academy or are ready to begin structured obedience training. Our goal is to create enthusiastic learners who enjoy working with their owners and have the skills needed to succeed in more advanced training programs.
