Join us for our Season 8 Opening Concert! This radiant program brings together two masterworks: Mendelssohn’s sparkling Octet, composed in a burst of youthful genius, and Copland’s beloved Appalachian Spring , which paints an expansive portrait of the American frontier, full of open harmonies and quiet strength.
