Ultimate Brewing Championship

Cape Fear Craft Beer Week kicks off on Friday, March 21st with the annual Ultimate Brewing Championship, where 15 Cape Fear area breweries will go head-to-head for your vote! Local brewers gathered together to each select two unique ingredients and will brew a special beer for this event. Join us at the historic Brooklyn Arts Center and enjoy a blind tasting of the 15 beers, cast your vote, and see who is crowned The Ultimate Brewing Champion! Local legend DJ Rizzy will keep the party alive while you sample beers with delicious ingredients like coffee, Fruity Pebbles, and black currant. Birriera La Rosita food truck will be parked outside serving up tacos, quesadillas, and more!

Doors: 6:30 - socialize and enjoy the official beer of Cape Fear Craft Beer Week
Brewery Presentations: 7:00 - Wrestling-themed skits from each brewery
Tasting begins: 7:30 - Try all 15 unique brews and vote for your favorite

Winner announced: 9:00 - Awards are given out and the UBC winner takes the prize
