Equi-calm Yoga

This calm and relaxing yoga class is designed for equestrians, but everyone is welcome and can benefit from this gentle, slow flow. The class is spent down on the mat to help you find peace and let go of the week’s stress. You will learn tools to regulate your nervous system and release tension stored in your body. Our practice will help you to manage your parasympathetic nervous system by attaining the discipline to change your physical and mental state. This is so important for your balance, connection and relationship with your horse.
We practice slow, beginner friendly postures and breathing exercises to achieve tranquility – body, mind and spirit.
Cara is also a certified Life Coach, should you feel you need someone to talk to who truly understands.
Please be sure to use your yoga mat. You may want to have blocks, pillows or a folded towel available. Don’t forget your water nearby!
