Vermicomposting - introduction to Worm Farming for farmers and food businesses with Anna de la Vega (The Urban Worm)

This is a technical workshop with Anna de la Vega of https://theurbanworm.co.uk/ that will cover the theory of worm farming and how it can be used on farms and in gardens to produce vermicompost and to manage wastes. The morning will be based in the village hall covering the basics of worm farming and dealing with any queries. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to go and look at a food waste system and windrow system at Croft Farm, Uffington, with a focus on troubleshooting issues and common techniques to make sure the worms are happy.
